Job Description:
A company is looking for an Agricultural Remote Sensing
Scientist.
Key Responsibilities
Utilize field data and remote sensing platforms to develop models
for water consumption and demand in field crops
Design and enhance algorithms to detect soil moisture and water
stress for optimizing irrigation management
Coordinate and analyze farm field experiments to validate
algorithms under real-world conditions
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Agricultural or Environmental Sciences, Physics,
Remote Sensing, or a related field
Proficiency or familiarity with programming in Python
Understanding of surface energy balance principles or the water
cycle within the soil-plant-atmosphere system
Highly self-motivated and eager to learn, with a demonstrated
ability to solve complex problems creatively
Strong team player with proven ability to collaborate effectively
with internal and external teams
