Job Description:
Job Description You will work as a part of a team comprised of
electrical, computer, mechanical, and systems engineers as well as
Operations technicians to design, develop, and verify Space test
systems:
Support systems engineers to analyze
hardware and software test requirements provided by the
customer.Support electrical and mechanical engineers to research
and design test hardware.Support bench and design verification
testing of test hardware against requirements.Document design
elements and develop end-user manuals.Coordinate with multiple
vendor teams to procure test equipment, manage design/deliverables,
and resolve any issues that arise.Support the assembly, test, and
troubleshooting of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA's), modules, and
sub-assemblies, working directly with hardware and design
engineering personnel as requiredCollaborate with manufacturing
test personnel staff to debug failures down to module and component
level.Conduct comprehensive analysis of test data to identify
changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures,
manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.Generate and
review the technical content of test procedures, drawings,
engineering specifications, reports, Engineering Change Orders, and
other documentation.Generate and implement improvements in product
and test design and develop methodologies to reduce cost, increase
yield, and improve throughput.Communicate utilizing written and
oral communication skills; interact with managers, staff,
co-workers and others encountered in the course of work; ability to
compose materials such as detailed reports and work-related
documents and communicate substantively about them.Required
Education, Experience, & Skills
High School Diploma 5+ years of
experience developing software to automate testing of electronic
devices and equipment.
Experience developing software to
interface test sequences with calibrated test equipment.
Experience developing documentation
to capture software design details as well as test plans and
procedures.
Must be able to work in a team
environment while completing tasks in an unsupervised and
self-directed fashion.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience with Space (or DoD
related) programs.
Electrical circuit or system design.
Experience with NI LabVIEW and/or
CVI.
Familiarity with System Engineering
concepts.Experience with MS Office products, including Excel, Word,
Powerpoint, and Teams.Experience in RF Electronics testing
including the use of spectrum analyzers, signal generators and
vector network analyzersExperience with FPGA designPay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $74508 - $119213Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
